In 1985, a casino known as “Trump’s Castle” opened under the ownership of Donald Trump. In 1997, the resort was renamed “Trump Marina” and
was sold after Trump Entertainment went through bankruptcy. Landry’s purchased the casino in February of 2011 and contacted Control Point Associates, Inc. to provide a survey of the interior existing conditions in order to retrofit the new Golden Nugget casino into what it is today.
