Former Llanerch Quarry positioned on a 30.5-acre site, at its peak bottomed out at 50-feet below sea level for a total depth of 270 feet. Since 1980, the quarry became a clean-fill dump, collecting only unwanted dirt, rocks and bricks. In preparation for the re-development of a retail center, approximately 6.5 million cubic yards of material filled the quarry. Control Point Associates, Inc. provided surveying services on this site from the initial development in 2007 through completion in 2013.
